Amberley Wildbrooks
We went to Amberley twice this week the first was on Wednesday and the last was Sunday, on Wednesday we got regular fly overs from the juvenile Eagles and the adult Eagles but nothing else special. On Sunday I took some of my friends over to Amberley to show them the eagles because I thought they would find it interesting, luckily for us they where flying right above us when we arrived, it was both of the adults as the two chicks have left but we weren’t even there for a minute and they both showed up. After an hour there other birds of prey showed up like Common Buzzard, Kestrel, Hobby, Sparrowhawk and so on but then a bird showed up from the right at a low altitude someone said Buzzard and others said Sparrowhawk but I knew that no Sparrowhawk can get close to the size of a Buzzard so I payed close attention to the bird. after we got home we confirmed that it was a Juvenile Goshawk with the help of the Sussex Ornithological Society.
