Dungeness

Monday 2nd of May, in search of Hobbys

It was a cloudy but warm day looking for Hobby but originally we were meant to go to Amberely to try and find the White Tailed Eagle but then we found out that the Hobby have come back to Dungeness so we had to go and see them but before we got to the viewing platform near denge marsh we saw many birds like,

1. Glossy Ibis across the path from Christmas Dell hide

2. Garganey at Denis hide

3. Greenshank near the Glossy Ibis with Godwits

4. Sedge Warblers, Marsh Harriers and Egyptian Geese all over the reserve

5. Hobby Falcon near Denge Marsh

6. Grey Heron and Little Egret near the Hobby

7. Sandwich Terns at Burrows Pit
