Isle of Mull Chapter Five
Staffa and Lunga were amazing. First we caught the boat from Ulva ferry and they took us to the Isle of Staffa where we got to see Fingals cave which is approximately 60 million years old and is made from volcanic rock. On this island there were a few Puffin and a distant Great Skua which was nice to see. After this they sailed us over to the Isle of Lunga, this is where the fun begins. As soon as we got there, there where swarms of Puffin everywhere aswell as Fulmar, Kittiwake, Shag, Razorbill, Guillemot, Black Gullimot, Gannet, Raven, Hooded Crow and much much more. The special thing about these Puffin was that you could get within a foot of one and they wouldn’t fly away, bear in mind these are wild Puffin. After Lunga we sailed around the rest of the Treshnish isles before coming back to Ulva Ferry where we ended this spectacular journey.
